Our Priority Services Register is a free support service for people who may be vulnerable - this may be because of their age, health or disability, or if they’re going through a difficult time in their lives.

You may qualify for the Priority Services Register if any of the following apply:
You have reached state pension age.
You have a disability or a long-term medical condition.
You are recovering from an injury.
You have a hearing or visual impairment.
You have a mental health condition.
You are pregnant or have young children.
You have additional communication needs (such as difficulty speaking or reading English).
Even if your situation isn’t listed here, you may still be eligible for registration, particularly if you require short-term support after a hospital stay.
When you register
By registering, you can access services such as large print or Braille bills and free gas safety checks.We will also share your details with your network operator, who will contact you if your electricity supply is due to be interrupted.
They will help you understand what steps to take to stay safe.
